Mackenzie N McCance

Associate Attorney

Mackenzie is a proud 2025 graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law ("NIU"). During her time in law school, she was honored to serve as an associate justice for NIU's Moot Court Competition Team. Her passion for advocacy led her to win the final round of the 2024 Lenny B. Mandell Moot Court Competition. In recognition of her dedication, she was awarded the Carl W. Cicero Scholarship and had the privilege of representing NIU at the National Moot Court Competition.

Mackenzie was a member of the Public Interest Law Society and a graduate assistant in the NIU Office of Career Opportunities and Professional Development. Mackenzie also studied abroad in France, where she learned about the French Civil Law system and the legal mechanisms of the European Union (Mackenzie is pictured here in Paris, France).

Mackenzie is a Dixon, Missouri, native and is excited to return to her roots and give back to her community.

In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys traveling, reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family. Mackenzie is an avid fan of Formula One Racing, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the U.S Women's National Soccer Team but she most enjoys watching her younger cousins compete in local sporting events.
